Sweet Meadows Farm was established in 2010 by the Valerie & Hannah Parker, a mother/daughter duo. Our family moved up from the suburbs of Atlanta in 2010 from a 1/4 acre, 1000 home golf course neighborhood to almost 12 acres in the beautiful Champlain Valley of Vermont where there are more cows than people! We wanted to go back to more of the basics, and so we began our journey!  Traditional foods and preparations, homesteading, permaculture and the holistic raising and rearing of farm animals. We do not take our goals lightly, but with a very serious focus on doing everything in the best possible interest of the environment and nature, and also each and every animal in our care which we consider part of the family. Our animals are all well loved and doted on, and have very loving temperaments. That is really important to us. Our kids are dam raised as nature intended and handled from birth, creating healthy and incredibly friendly homestead animals. We pride ourselves in being able to help new goat owners get started with goats. We have always done a lot of coaching centered around homesteading, permaculture and holistic wellness, so we are so excited to be in the midst of launching a new nursery and education center right here on the farm. There's so much going on, and we can't wait to see how it all comes together, and how the Lord will bless it!

Our little farm is a slice of heaven with its double rainbows and four leaf clovers everywhere, and God has blessed our family in so many ways.

We look forward to sharing our passion with you!

Many Blessings,
Valerie & Hannah
