And the secret is out!!! We are so excited to introduce you to the newest members of Sweet Meadows Farm...meet Blue and Rosie, future guardians of the farm! They are Great Pyrenees and came to us a couple weeks ago from Lindsay's Great Pyrenees in middle TN (a big thank you to your wonderful family - it's obvious how well loved your beautiful dogs are!). These two puppies are quite a handful, and the goats are wary of them, but are slowly getting used to them - they are in a stall in the does' room and we are doing supervised interactions on a leash during the day. Rosie & Blue have big personalities and love everyone they meet! They are super smart and already getting the hang of basic commands. We are doing slow introductions with the goats, and they are learning to respect them after some head butts from some of the girls. LOL. We can't wait to watch these two pups grow up and eventually keep a watchful eye over the herd in the future. :-)
