Doubletree Fern Arable
Doubletree Fern Arable (Fern) came to us in late October 2016 from Doubletree in NY. She is solid white with apricot splashes and has blue eyes. She is a large, striking doeling and is quite entertaining. She makes a distinct, loud moaning sound when she is in heat (which is often during fall/winter) and is very moody when that happens. LOL. She has a way about her that makes her always look like she is mad about something. Very reserved and on her own terms, she loves to pose for the camera, and makes it known (in a subtle sort of way) that she is one of the top bosses in the barn. She is a very funny girl. She even made the cover of Stone Soup Magazine for kids - my daughter took the photo. Fern has excellent confirmation, wonderful lines and long, straight teats. Fern was too small to breed her first year, and did not take in 2017. She is bred for 2019 and is due in May if she settled! Not bred.
